ADVANCED Deep Cleaning fee is per item & INCLUDES an 8-week dry clean & press fee (may take less than 8 weeks)
+3.5% Fair Market Value (FMV) surcharge - $99 minimum - invoiced on collectibles with inbound values over $1,000 per item (value when received, before we start work)
Will be an additional charge if separate pieces (dust jackets, inserts, etc. need treatment)
Items must not be brittle or fragile, especially at corners, edges, staples or spines.
In this process, both interior & exterior covers deep cleaned, to ensure uniformity of paper color and tone
ADVANCED Deep Cleaning can involve many sessions of handling, temperature, pressure & humidity
We can’t guarantee that new defects won’t be introduced
Some color could fade/break
Spine splits/chipped brittle corners/fragile paper tears are possible
Covers could shrink or expand slightly
